49. Kovach, Joe (Kovacs)


Joseph KOVICH(1-2) was born in 1874 in Austria.(3) He immigrated about 1900 and was naturalized about 1916.(4)  He appeared in the census in 1920 in Lincoln County, Wyoming with his wife Sabo and six children.(4)  Joseph died in a gas explosion in Frontier No. 1 coal mine on 14 August 1923 at the age of 49 in Frontier, Wyoming.(3)  He was buried on 17 August 1923 in Kemmerer, Wyoming.(3,5)
