C HAGI(1-2) was born about 1872 in Japan.(3-4) He immigrated in March 1900 to Seattle, Washington.(4-5) He appeared, with his wife and son, in the
census in 1920 in Lincoln County, Wyoming.(4)
In 1920 Hagi and his son were working at the coal mine as a laborers.(4) Hagi died in a gas explosion in Frontier No.
1 coal mine on 14 August 1923 at the age of 51 in Frontier, Wyoming.(3) He was buried on
17 August 1923 in the Kemmerer City Cemetery.(3) Hagi was married to Tsuru, who was born 14
October 1884, in Kandamura, Kagawaken, Japan.(4-6)
(It is unconfirmed
at this time if the two coal miners, O. Hagi and O.T. Hagi are related.)
