67. Menapace, Ottilio

Ottilio (Atillio) Emmanuele MENAPACE(1-3) was born on 13 July 1897 in Campo Tassullo, Italy to Riccardo MENAPACE and Maria DALRI.(2,4-6)  He was baptized on 14 July 1897 in the Catholic Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta, Tassullo, Trento, Italy.(2) As a farmer, Otillio, left Italy and immigrated on 9 October 1922 to New York City.(4)  His United States destination was Frontier, Wyoming where his sister, Augusta lived with her husband (Carlo) TORESANI.(4)  Otillio was 5 feet 5 inches tall with a fair complexion and brown hair and brown eyes.(4)  Otillio worked for the Kemmerer Coal Company as a coal miner along with his sister’s brother-in-law, Louis TORESANI. (1,3-4,6,8-9)  Ottilio died in a gas explosion in Frontier No. 1 coal mine on 14 August 1923 in Frontier, Wyoming.(5-6)  Ottilio was 26 years old.(5-6) He was buried on 17 August 1923 in Kemmerer, Wyoming shares a headstone with Louis TORESANI.(5-6)  Ottilio was single.(5)

Ottilio’s sister, Augusta MENAPACE, married Carlo Toresani.  Carlo’s borther is Louis TORESANI.(4,8-9)
