70. Palavar, Masu (Max)


Masu "Max" PALLAVER(1-2) was born on 17 January 1884 in Austria.(2-4)  He immigrated about 1913.(5)  He submitted draft registration cards for WWI on 12 September 1918 in Lincoln County, Wyoming where he lists Mrs. Virginia Pallaver in Austria, as his nearest living relative.(4)  In 1918 Max was working for the Kemmerer Coal Company in Frontier as a coal miner. (4)   He was of medium height and medium build with brown eyes and brown hair.(4)    Max appeared in the census in 1920 in Frontier, Wyoming where he was living in Pete Rizzi’s home as a “roomer” along with Julius Menapace.(5)  He died in a gas explosion in Frontier No. 1 coal mine on 14 August 1923 at the age of 39 in Frontier.(3-4)  He was buried on 17 August 1923 in the Kemmerer City Cemetery.(3)  He was single.(3)
