Nick SMITH (1–2) was
born about 1868 in Austria.(3) He immigrated about
1880.(4) He appeared in the census in 1910 in
Frontier, Lincoln, Wyoming where he was recorded as a 42 single boarder living with the Louis Smith
family.(4) Nick was listed as Austrian Croatian
who was working as a coal miner at the coal mine.(4) Nick died in a gas
explosion in Frontier No. 1 coal mine on 14 August 1923 at the age of 55 in
Frontier, Lincoln, Wyoming.(3) He was
buried on 18 August 1923 in Kemmerer, Wyoming.(3) He was single.(2-3)
